Over the past fifty years since Fran Betters opened his shop, many of you came to know him and the flies he created, the books he wrote and the information he shared with all of you. This website is where those products and that information will go on.

Fran Betters - April 30, 1931 - Sept 6, 2009 - HIS LEGACY CONTINUES

All Frans patterns and all the other flies that were in the shop are available along with his books, custom leaders, custom vise and of course the wonderful custom rods he produced. He took care to teach the right people how to tie those flies and Pat Allen exactly how to create those custom rods that are a work of art. The same ones chosen by Cigar Aficionado Magazine as the best in the country.
